Dream vs Movies

Do you dream in color?
I do!
I am dreaming of
grey,
white,
coral
and
maroon...
Not an idea color combination, I know but I have to work with what I have.
This is what we have...

Welcome to our movie room, this is where you will find my family with pizza , almost every friday night .
A large room with no flavor, just half of a sectional and 2 chairs.

Searching as I always am, I came across this room on Pinterest.
I knew that I had to do this in our movie room.
Pallet hunting I go.....

Then my mom called and asked if I wanted this sectional that she bought from someone for $50.00. Each piece is separate, which I thought will be perfect!

It is old and a little worn but I love the color, and they are very comfortable.
Trying to explain to my husband the ideas that I had for the new addition was work within itself.
My husband is not the imaginative type, he have to see what I am talking about in order to understand.
So visual is what I gave him with my wonderful app called "Live Interior 3d Standard"

See the pallets under the coral chairs? If we stacked 3-4 high for the back and 2 high for the 2nd row then we will have a great movie room!!

When he saw this he went right to work, please understand that my husband is a movie fanatic, so if I can make his life better and more comfortable while watching movies then he is all aboard.

So we got started.
I was like a crazy woman, riding down dark alleys, driving behind trashcans trying to find pallets that people didn't want anymore, I was lucky I brought home 2!!, but we needed more.
Then my husband stepped in and brought home a truck full. I was so excited I didn't know what to do with myself.
We then had to go to Lowe's to get large pieces of wood, we thought it would be better to box the pallets in instead of leaving it bare, especially with the legs being on the chairs.
We also wanted to have a cleaner look.

The pallets are the perfect support needed for the stage.
He built the sides at least 3inches taller, all around, so that if the chairs slide, they will not fall off the stage.

Then it was time to paint!!

While the paint dried we stepped out to enjoy what was left of Father's Day!

I love this picture of me!

Notice the color that I am wearing...
I am matching my new movie room...
Here is a peek into my new movie room.

I am still working on the finishing touches!
While in the middle of also planning a birthday party for my now 3 year old!

Notice the orange invite.. I think Orange (coral) is my new favorite color!

Happy Birthday to my Baby Girl the Beautiful Ballerina!

Well, I am still party planning, and decorating, check back for the full room reveal!
