Caterpillars are blooming into butterflies...

Spring cleaning, is all we did this weekend, we have prepared our outdoors for fun fun fun!
My porch is ready for a party and I am excited to show you how it turned out!

Remember when we bought this from the goodwill for $100.00, wasn't it nice of them to throw in the pillows, even though they didn't come with the furniture.

After it was painted this is how we were sitting on the furniture for almost 2 yrs! Very embarrassing. But that was all we had. We bought cushions last summer but returned them, cause it just wasn't the look that we were going for, so we were back to square one.

So this weekend was the weekend for getting the outside areas ready for spring.
Gutter cleaning, mowing, planting flowers and of course always hot gluing some stuff together.

Check out my rooftop photos!

I had never been up there before , so I really didn't know what to do!

My husband made bricks. Yes, bricks.
You will have to ask him how he made them, I was at church, but he made them.
He make me so proud.

We used them to border out the flowerbed.

It is going to look a whole lot better when the green grass grow back, against the bricks.

With all the roof top action..
 With all the brick laying.....
With all the mowing...........

We were so happy to retreat to our new porch!

Look like it was ripped from a magazine huh?
I know I LOVE IT!!!
I didn't think that it would turn out like it did, but here it is.

It started with this lantern, that I broke.
I love it and didn't want to throw it away, so I got my twine that I had left over and got to wrapping it and hot glueing it back to life.

It was all down up hill from there.
I went to Lowe's and found this rope that I used to hang my sheers, around the room and I used the same twine from the lantern to pull them together.

I even left the rope hanging like that, just for the beauty of it.

Accessorizing isn't just for indoors...

I found this cute tool box at one of my favorite places for $2.00.
It was here and there never really had a home until now, so when it rain, I can just pick this up and carry my reads in the house, no problem.

You maybe wondering what I am up to now....

Well, you should already know!!
